iOS 17.3 & iPadOS 17.3 seem OK as well.

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

I've found a number of online sites and apps that claim to be able to do this conversion but I'm not sure how well they will work for this. I am hoping there is a plugin that will do this. Any thoughts or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Is there a way to convert an XML DVD Profiler export into a CVS file? I found another movie database, Movie Buddy, but it only imports CVS files.

I just updated to iOS 17.2 & iPadOS 17.2 and, as far as I can tell, everything seems to be working.

I found a workaround for my iPad Rotten Tomatoes issue. While the main Rotten Tomatoes screen is truncated on the right, if you hit the critic reviews link, the reviews come up properly.

I just noticed an odd behavior after updating to iPadOS 17. The Rotten Tomatoes screen is truncated on the right side. Even odder, this only happens with movies and not with TV. iOS on my iPhone works normally. I don't know when this started. Once again, annoying but not a major problem.

Last, but not least try deleting DVD Profiler on both your PC and iPad, rebooting both, then reinstalling them. Always worth a try with networking issues.

Also check your antivirus software. Turn it off and see if it makes a difference. If it does, then adjust the settings when you turn it back on.
In addition, make sure you typed the server name in properly on your iPad. It is at the bottom of the Windows DVDProfiler window. You can use the IP address instead, which is also at the bottom of the window. Try them both. One may work while the other won't.
If you have an iPhone, see if you have the same problem connecting. It may help you diagnose your problem.
Finally, make sure DVD Profiler is open and running on your PC when you try to connect.

Also make sure your Windows PC local network is set to PRIVATE. See below on how to do this.

Check your DVD Profiler settings and make sure "local network" is switched on.

Just updated to iPadOS 17.01 and iOS 17.01. DVD Profiler still seems to be working OK except for the black text on a black background in the search box of the Showcase tab on my iPad. Annoying, but not a major problem. I think we are good for another year.
If anyone notices anything else please report it here.

The search box in the Collection tab on my iPad still works as it did before. So I guess if you want to read what you are searching for, you need to do it in the Collection tab. Once again, irritating but still useable.

I did notice that the search box no longer appears at the top in the Showcase tab when I scroll down on my iPad. It does still appear at the top right, but while you can enter search data and search, you can't read it since it is black text on a black background. My iPhone does not have this problem. Irritating but still useable. I'll see if I can figure out a setting to stops this from happening.

I took the plunge and updated my iPhone to iOS 17 and my iPad to iPadOS 17. As far as I can tell, DVD Profiler seems to be working fine. Quite a relief.

If you have an Intel based Mac, you can install Apple's Bootcamp and download Windows 10 for free. You can then run the desktop version which offers a lot more features than the iOS version.

Is it a camera problem on BOTH your iPad and iPhone?
Can you enter the UPC code manually?
Is the camera enabled in DVD Profiler settings?
Is the camera focusing properly in the Camera app?

As a longtime DVD Profiler for iOS user but a new DVD Profiler for PC user, I thought I'd share my experience on this issue.
I too had my local network set as PUBLIC, so I couldn't initially connect with my iPad. It was not a router issue but rather a Windows 10 issue. I found this helpful link that showed me how to set my local network to PRIVATE.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/make-a-wi-fi-network-public-or-private-in-windows-0460117d-8d3e-a7ac-f003-7a0da607448d

While this solved my iPad problem, I was still unable to connect with my iPhone running iOS 16. I checked the DVD Profiler preferences in Settings on my iPhone and noticed that the Local network switch was set to OFF. After I set it to ON, it connected properly. It is unclear why this was set differently from my iPad which was running iPadOS 16. Interestingly, I did not have this problem on my iPhone or iPad running iOS 12 since there were no DVD Profiler preferences listed in settings.
