I recognized it these days that - at least in theory - so many cast & crew in the profiles would need their name with "credited as".
Why? Have you ever recognized that so many openening sequence or end titles use only capital letters or sometimes only small letters?
For "common" names it might be easy to handle the correct format, but what about all these with "van", "Mc", "de" before the name? Especialy for "van" and "de" you're never able to find out if they should be written with a capital letter at the beginning or a small one. But changing all those countless profiles to the mentioned "credited as"-versions could become the job of a lifetime.......

They don't. For any given profile, the online database stores the format that was last submitted/accepted into the database, so capitalization in names can ping-pong with every accepted contribution.
