| Posted: | | | | Hi,
I have a problem syncing DVD Profiler between my iPad (and iPhone) to my PC. I have recently bought a new router (Asus RT-N66U N900) and recently upgraded from Windows 8 to 10. So I do not know which causes the issue.
Now, when connecting to PC (for syncing) before I would check the bottom line in desktop DVDProfiler and check which server to connect to e.g. Server 10.0.0.6 (the last digit would change randomly from time to time so would have to change it on my IOS devices in order to connect). Now the bottom line in the desktop program simply says "Shared on 'Library' (192.168.1.227), port 32847: 0 connected. The information on the bottom about which server to use is missing. I tried changing the last digits to all numbers in the range 0-9, but no success connecting. I have allowed DVD Profiler to pass through the Windows Firewall. I do have Avast also, but I turned Web shield off with no luck syncing. I am not sure which setting to change in my router (if any). Any one have any suggestions
EDIT: On my iPad I clicked "Databases" and "Open this Database" this resulted in a connection being set up. Now everything is fine again. The "Server" is set to 192.168.1.227 (not 10.0.0.6 as previously). All is well ! | | | Last edited: by espen-4 |
