| Posted: December 29, 2008 1:01 AM | | | | I have been using mobile profiler with no problems until today. Getting inadequate space to copy profile when trying to sync with my VX600 running windows 6.1. I am using active sync 4.5 on my main computer running XP with all service packs installed. Mobile Profiler installed with no problem. Installing profiles to a 1 gig storage card on the PDA and there is 900 meg free. Total install of data is under 60 megs. I did a repair on the database and uninstalled mobile profiler and all data from the Pda and then reinstalled. Again without problem intil I tried to sync the data. Then the message appeared again. It does not happen on the same profile as I have tried multiple times and the message comes at different intervals in the process. Has anyone else seen this and is there a solution? |

The desktop is running active sync 4.5 - I will go back to 4.2 and see if it works. Quoting Bill MacNeill: Quote: I have been using mobile profiler with no problems until today. On another note. I can fully sync with outlook on the device without problem going through active sync. I meant maybe the setting of where to store the data got changed in the program's sync option on your XP machine which you said was your main machine. | | | Schultzy - http://www.michaelschultz.net grenactics - The art of skillfully fraggin one’s opponent with the use of grenades or other compact explosive devices that are thrown by hand or projected. |

I can sync in Vista but it is a pain to backup the database to another machine just to sync data. I am going back to Active Sync 4.2 to see if this is the culprit. The only way I can get my colection to sync to my Htc Touch P3050, Is by downloading my collection to my wifes laptop which is running Vista, then downloading Windows Device Centre to her laptop then it will sync to my phone. I don't know if Active Sync 4.5 is the problem because my phone will only work with Active Sync 4.5 or higher. Thank you for mentioning your little discovery, at the moment it is the only way I can sync to my phone. |
