As far as doing that within the current functionality of the program, you could include this information in the notes field and\or use a custom html window to display it.
and if you want it to actually link the profiles together your best bet would be to use a manual profile and make that a box set for the sequels. and also might want to adjust the sort title to keep the profiles together when sorted by title.

Sounds like a can of works to me, so I'd pass on that idea. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: January 11, 2008 4:14 AM | | | | So, when it's a problem to decide whats a sequal and whats not, i can do it by myself. But i need the window. Sure i can do it in the Notes but then its not like the crew window: I click on El mariachi, a new window open and there is el marichi and desperado with cover and so on. You know what i mean? Sorry but my englich is not so good, long time ago that i write and spoke! -Agrare Most of the time it is pretty clear, but there are a few cases where it is unclear. On top of my head: - Casino Royale (the Parody): Is it a sequel to the James Bond Franchise? - Never Say Never: Sequel or Remake? - The Pink Panther (Steve Martin): Not a Sequel, not a remake, but a reboot - Batman Begins: Also a "reboot" and doesn't belong to the "old" series I think it is much easier to track sequels, remakes or movie series with the Tag function or use the sort title (to get a correct list of films that belong together but have different names). |
