| Posted: | | | | I have had two updates today that 1. I don't remember voting on and 2. When I check the contribution notes a hell of a lot more was changed than what was in the notes.
Example 1 :
Dead and Buried: Limited Edition [827058-200394] Contribution notes say: Added CoO Update I downloaded: Adds CoO as well as changes the overview which has taken away all the ' ' for bold that should be there.
Example 2: Happy Tree Friends: Overkill [634911-193320] Contribution Notes say: Added COO Update I downloaded: Changes SRP/Overview/Disc Info
I have been doing updates on a regular basis since everything get pushed through so fast. But this is really annoying. |

| Posted: | | | | It sounds like your local profile is not the same as the online profile.
You should contribute the corrections if the online profile is incorrect. |

| Posted: | | | | I had the same as MrTorso for at least two profiles. dead & Buried being one of them for me too.
It feels especially bad noticing this, if the update is, well, bad data. | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | A problem that I often have, is that for some reason or another my own profile is no longer in sync with what is in the master database, even though a Refresh All Profiles does not detect the difference and thus does not download it. The only way to get the profile updated is to do a Refresh Profile for that single DVD. That's what I now do whenever I want to change something to a profile: first do a refresh for that profile to make sure it's up-to-date, and then do the changes and submit. I also wonder why I'm missing those updates. I assume it has to do with the move from 2.4 to 3.0. |

| Posted: | | | | I'm also still getting a lot of profile updates that were never listed in the 'Database' section to review/vote on. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | remember you only get to vote on profiles that are present in your uploaded online collection. | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. |

I do the same... upload to it all the time... and I have seen some that I never got the chance to vote on... and before you say it... yes I check the submissions several times a day to vote. I remember this same problem at Intervocative as well. I don't know what could possibly cause it... but seems to be some sort of bug in the system. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I have defiantly seen this happen too, seems to effect a small percentage of titles, hard to pin down the common cause, I'll try and eye on it and see if I can locate a common factor.
