| Posted: | | | | Ok - so i just bought Cast Away - the new Steelbook edition... and i can forsee the contribution wars now, so let's discuss it...
On the front of the metal case: Cast Away (no editions mentioned) On the inside of the case (first inlay): STEELBOOK www.steelbook.com On the back of the case: 2-Disc Set (line break) Collector's Edition
so people... im going to go ahead and say that common sense says it should be listed as:
Cast Away: Steelbook
however... i believe the rules would make it
Cast Away

| Posted: | | | | The most ideal solution would be to add 'steelcase' to the available case types as it's becoming more and more popular. |

| Posted: | | | | contrubute it as "Cast Away" with "2-Disc Set: Collector's Edition" as edition. and let's hope that "steel case" soon becomes an option under "case type". |

| Posted: | | | | Interestingly, my Best Buy only had Hannibal (and this one was advertised alongside Hannibal Rising) and Die Hard while the rest (Day After Tomorrow, Cast Away, Platoon, etc) were not.
As for the topic at hand, I think they should add "Steelbook" as a case type. | | | Last edited: by The Movieman |

why would you select this off the back cover?
I agree with the set up proposed, and taking it from the back-over is just fine. It's an Edition description without a doubt, and it doesn't matter where on the box it is printed. There's nothing in the rules limiting the verification of Edition descriptions to the front cover only. | | | Lutz |

"Other features" shall be used "for Extras that do not have a specific indicator." (taken from the rules). As Steelbook is undoubtedly a case type, this data is already indicated through the case type field. Although this specific case type isn't spelled out (yet), the data is available. It's an invalid entry if added under "other features". | | | Lutz |

| Posted: | | | | Right now, Steelbook is a Custom Case, it is not a Feature of any kind. The request has been made, a poll has even been taken and now all that happens is we await for ken to add it at some point in the future.
