Thought so. Baka. And one last time for the 5th page of this fun ride. Quoting Unicus69: Quote: I can see where it looks like the deck is stacked in favor of a specific result. The addition of, "Even though it's a violation of the current rules, add the banners," will make some people vote 'no' even if they don't agree. | | | Erik

| Posted: | | | | gardibolt had an excellent sugestion in the version of this thread I created a few days ago.
A new feature of DVD Profiler to automatically tack on a HD-DVD/Blu-Ray banner onto the image based on the media selection.
My sugestion would be to add a preference to disable the banner.
CON: Existing scans will need to have the banners removed PRO: Everybody is happy |

All contributed images would have to be resized to a specific width in order for the banner to be "one-size fits all". | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

Thought so. Baka. Did you misspell a word or are you calling me a name or something? Like yourself, I'll simply not answer that since it's more convenient for me. Love the sig, by the way. Don't you have some more "personal Invelos rule guidance" telephone calls to attend to? Seems like they aren't working yet. | | | Erik

It's not hard to auto-scale a banner, simply setting it's width to match the cover scan would solve that. Depending on the language, the height may need to be computed to maintain the aspect ratio. It seems that the vast majority of the downloaded covers are 500 pixels wide which seems to be the max. |

Now that I think about it, if they are smaller than that, they don't up-size them! | | | Hal |

I even prefer it over the HD DVD logo in the progam. It's quick. I see it and I instantly know what it is. And even quicker is to use media type column in your listing. |

This poll is totally useless. Even when not owning any HD yet, everybody could be affected in the future by this poll when he decides to buy his first HD disc. |
