| Posted: | | | | Strange - it was Invelos Support that came up with the solutions I shared here. |

| Posted: | | | | I wasn't working with support on the exact problem you had. I fixed that with run as admin. My issue was with DVDP launching the default browser for links clicked. Following your set of instructions, it fixed all my issues. Thank you and invelos for the correct answer. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

I currently have my collection set to view as thumbnails on the left pane and the thumbnails larger and less manageable than they used to. Also the scrollbar cuts off and I can't scroll to the very bottom of my collection. have exactly the same issues after W10 upgrade. everything´s blurry just like you mentioned. Funny, that nobody else seems to care / mention... |

First make sure that your display drivers are up to date, then right-click on the desktop and mess with the screen settings (or via control panel). | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | RE: Windows 10 permissions.
I, too, was unable to edit profiles or run the database repair utility after upgrading to Windows10. At the suggestion of Invelos support (and others in this thread) I right-clicked the app and opened DVDProfiler as "administrator" to solve the problem. This problem is caused because Windows 10 does not automatically give permission to Users other than the system administrator. I was also unable to edit or create new files in any of my old Windows 7 library folders. The following link explains the issue and provides the instructions needed to give yourself the necessary permissions - read the "Resetting all permissions for your user account" section which starts about half way down the page.

| Posted: | | | | Different Disc ID (Only BD) After updating to Windows 10, I am getting a different Disc ID for the BDs. The Disc ID on DVDs are however still the same. Tried this on several discs and different drives.
Anyone having the same problem? |

| Posted: | | | | When I enter a new disk that is not already in the database, the default used to be DVD. Now it's Blu-ray,DVD (assumes it is a combo). I would prefer to have it default to Blu-ray, as that is what I mainly buy. |

| Posted: | | | | That's not a Windows 10 issue, LEEHSKINNER, it's a deliberate update in DVDP 3.9.1... New additions now default to whatever you have filtered under DVD->Add to Collection, Add by Title. See this thread, where it was brought up... FWIW I note that in the first 3 posts requests were in from people who were almost all Blu-ray now and those that were all DVD...
